Integral Eye Movement Technique (IEMT) – Excellence in Therapeutic Adaptation and Change
Integral Eye Movement Technique (IEMT) is a cutting-edge approach routed in neurology, psychology, and cognitive science principles. IEMT provides an innovative framework for addressing various emotional and behavioural challenges by focusing on the intricate interplay between eye movements and memory recall.
IEMT offers a structured method for exploring how memories and emotions are encoded in the mind. This therapy uses precise eye movement patterns to recalibrate maladaptive responses, allowing individuals to process distressing memories, alleviate negative emotions, and develop healthier mental frameworks.
Applications of IEMT
IEMT has shown significant efficacy in addressing:
-
- Traumatic experience: Facilitating emotional resolution of traumatic experiences.
-
- Problematic emotions: Reducing cognitive and emotional burdens from the past.
-
- Chronic Stress: Promoting resilience by addressing stress-related thought patterns.
-
- Behavioural Challenges: Enhancing emotional regulation and improving self-perception.

Luci said – after three short sessions:
“Pippa is kind, supportive, straightforward, and funny, and I felt safe and at ease with her from the outset. She uses a collaborative approach, so throughout our sessions I felt I had agency and choice about where the process went, and how quickly or slowly we progressed.
She gently guided me through the work, checking in frequently with how I was feeling. I have a strong inner critic, and when there was a risk of me going down a rabbit hole of negative thinking, Pippa used empathy and gentle humour to bring me back into the present moment.
This was my first experience of eye movement therapy, and it completely shifted my way of thinking in a very short time. I was able to tackle some long-standing and difficult issues and see a bigger, clearer picture.
I would recommend both IEMT and Pippa to anyone, but especially to those who, like me, want to feel heard and understood without having to explain their entire life story. I am writing this a couple of months after having these 3 sessions of IEMT and can report that the changes have stayed with me”
Jennie said, after 2 short sessions:
